Sample:
Clean water is essential to human survival, and I strongly agree that access to it should be considered a basic right, provided free of charge to every household. Governments should treat clean water as a public good, not a commodity.
To begin with, water is as vital as air—both are elements of nature that should not be owned or controlled by individuals or corporations. If clean water were monetized, it could become inaccessible to low-income families, leading to inequality and even health crises. Charging people for something so fundamental contradicts the principle of universal human rights.
Furthermore, from an ethical and historical standpoint, water has always existed as a shared natural resource. No one created it, and thus, no one should profit from it. Governments are merely stewards of resources, not owners. Like air and sunlight, clean water must be protected and distributed fairly.
Some argue that charging for water encourages responsible usage and reduces waste. However, this issue can be addressed through public education, improved infrastructure, and water-saving technologies rather than imposing fees.
In conclusion, clean water is a life-sustaining necessity that should be guaranteed to all, regardless of income or status. Free access reflects both moral responsibility and practical need. Governments must prioritize this right and ensure universal access to safe, affordable water.
Cambridge 20 Test 2: Topic: Long Summer Holidays

Sample:
Long summer holidays have traditionally been seen as a well-deserved break for students and teachers, but they are increasingly under scrutiny. While such extended vacations offer several advantages, there are strong arguments in favour of shorter breaks.
The primary benefit of long school holidays is rest and rejuvenation. After months of academic pressure, students and educators alike need time to recover mentally and physically. It also allows families to spend quality time together, travel, and engage in enriching activities such as camps or part-time jobs, which contribute to the holistic development of children.
However, critics of long holidays argue that they lead to a “learning loss.” Students, especially younger ones, tend to forget what they’ve learned over such a long break, requiring valuable time for revision when they return. This can widen the achievement gap between students who continue learning over the holidays and those who don’t. Moreover, working parents often struggle to find affordable childcare during this extended time, creating financial and logistical challenges. Shorter, more frequent breaks could offer a better balance, ensuring that students stay academically engaged while still getting rest.
In conclusion, although long summer holidays have cultural and personal value, they may be outdated in today’s fast-paced educational environment. A restructured calendar with shorter, spaced-out holidays might better support learning retention and family needs.

Sample:
With growing concern about climate change, some individuals have chosen to reduce or completely stop flying in order to protect the environment. While this has undeniable ecological benefits, it can also create challenges for individuals and businesses. I believe the environmental advantages justify the change.
Air travel is among the most carbon-intensive forms of transport, contributing significantly to global emissions. Reducing flights leads to lower greenhouse gas emissions, helping to slow global warming. It also encourages governments and airlines to invest in greener technologies and alternative transportation such as high-speed rail.
However, the disadvantages should not be ignored. For businesses, especially those that rely on international travel for meetings or deals, reduced flights may mean longer travel times and increased costs. On a personal level, people may find it harder to visit family abroad or explore different cultures. Even so, many of these drawbacks can be mitigated. The rise of remote work and virtual meetings has reduced the need for business travel. Additionally, more people are exploring local destinations, supporting domestic tourism while lowering their environmental impact.
In conclusion, although there are inconveniences associated with reducing air travel, the long-term benefits for the environment far outweigh them. Choosing to fly less is a responsible decision that contributes to a sustainable future.
Cambridge 20 Test 4: Topic: Global Fashion Trends

Sample:
Global fashion trends have become increasingly influential in shaping how people dress, especially with the rise of social media and celebrity culture. In my view, while there are some negative aspects, the overall influence is largely positive.
The spread of fashion across borders is largely due to technology. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok expose users to global styles instantly, making it easy for individuals to follow the latest trends regardless of where they live. Moreover, celebrities and influencers serve as fashion role models, driving global demand for specific clothing items and brands.
This influence can be seen as beneficial. It gives people the freedom to experiment with styles and express their identity. Fashion also helps connect people from different cultures, fostering a sense of shared identity. Additionally, global trends have boosted creative industries, providing employment and innovation.
On the downside, the pressure to follow trends can reduce individuality. Fast fashion also raises ethical concerns due to its environmental and labor impacts. However, growing awareness of sustainable fashion is encouraging consumers to make more responsible choices.
In conclusion, global fashion has become a powerful cultural force. Despite some drawbacks, it enables creativity, expression, and connection. With a conscious approach, its impact can be both inspiring and sustainable.
III. Tips tự học IELTS Writing tại nhà

- Sử dụng từ nối (linking words) như however, therefore, in contrast,...
