I. Đề IELTS Speaking Part 2+3 trong Cambridge 20

Test 1:

Part 2:

Describe a play or a film you have seen that you would like to see again with friends.

You should say:

• what play or film you’d like to go to see again
• who you would go with
• what other people have said about this play or film

and explain why you would like to see this play or film again with friends.

Part 3:

1. What are the most popular kinds of plays or shows at theatres in your country?

2. How easy is it to get tickets to the theatre?

3. Do you think theatres need to do more to attract younger audiences?

4. What do you think attracts people to working as an actor?

5. What are some of the qualities that a person needs to have if they want to become an actor?

6. Can you think of any disadvantages of working as an actor?

Test 2:

Part 2:

Describe a time when you changed a plan you had made.

You should say:

• what your original plan was
• why you changed it
• what new plan you made 

and explain how you felt about changing your plan.

Part 3:

1. What kinds of plans do friends make together?

2. Do you think it’s better to discuss future plans with friends or with family?

3. When making plans for the future, is it important not to copy friends?

4. When people are choosing what to study, how important is it that their course should lead directly to a career?

5. Why is it a good idea to get some work experience before deciding on a future career?

6. How easy do you think it is for people to change from one career to another?

Test 3:

Part 2:

Describe a piece of work you did for your job or your studies that you felt very satisfied with.

You should say:

• what this piece of work was
• why you did this piece of work
• who or what helped you do this work

and explain why you felt so satisfied with this piece of work.

Part 3:

1. What are some aspects of people’s lives that they can often be dissatisfied with?

2. Would you say that having ambitions in life is always a positive thing?

3. What do you believe the most important components are of a satisfying life?

4. What makes a job more satisfying: a high salary or having good colleagues?

5. Do you think people need to change jobs regularly if they want to stay satisfied at work?

6. Is it possible to find job satisfaction in all types of work?

Test 4:

Part 2:

Describe a time when you had a long discussion about a news story.

You should say:

• what the news story was about
• who you discussed this news story with
• what people’s opinions were

and explain why you had such a long discussion about this news story.

Part 3:

1. How do most people find out about the news in your country?

2. Are people more interested in local news than national news?

3. How important is it to know about international news?

4. Why are discussion programmes involving members of the public popular on TV and radio?

5. What kinds of people want to take part in discussion programmes?

Part 2:

One film I’d really love to watch again with friends is Interstellar. I watched it a while ago, and honestly, it completely blew my mind. It’s a sci-fi movie directed by Christopher Nolan, and it explores space travel, time, and the power of human connection. It’s not just visually stunning — the plot is super deep and emotional too.

If I had the chance, I’d go with my close friends from university. We all enjoy thought-provoking movies, and I think this one would spark a lot of interesting conversations afterwards. Some of them haven’t seen it yet, so I’d love to experience their reactions.

The film received a lot of praise for its storyline, acting, and soundtrack. Many people said it was a masterpiece, and I totally agree. Even though it’s quite long and complex, it keeps you hooked from start to finish.

I’d love to rewatch it with friends because it’s one of those movies where you notice new details every time. Plus, discussing all the twists and theories with others would make it way more fun and memorable.

Part 3:

1. What are the most popular kinds of plays or shows at theatres in your country?
“In Vietnam, musical performances and traditional plays like cải lương or chèo are still quite popular, especially among older audiences. That said, younger people tend to prefer modern theatre or comedy shows. Recently, there’s been a growing interest in contemporary drama and even Broadway-style productions. Honestly, anything with a relatable story or humor tends to draw a good crowd.”

Part 2:

A time when I had to change a plan was last summer. I had originally planned a weekend trip to Da Nang with two of my closest friends. We’d been looking forward to it for weeks — the beach, the food, the atmosphere — everything was set, even the hotel was booked in advance.

But a few days before the trip, my cousin from overseas suddenly came to visit, and my parents asked me to stay home and spend time with the family. At first, I was honestly a bit frustrated because I’d been counting down the days for that getaway. So instead of going to Da Nang, I made a new plan to show my cousin around Hanoi — we visited some famous spots like the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, and tried lots of local street food.

Surprisingly, it turned out to be really fun. I got to reconnect with family and see my city from a tourist’s perspective. In the end, I didn’t regret changing the plan at all. It taught me that sometimes, things don’t go as planned — but that doesn’t mean they can’t turn out even better.

Part 3:

1. What kinds of plans do friends make together?

“Well, I’d say it really depends on their age and interests, but generally, friends often plan things like weekend getaways, birthday parties, or even study sessions. Some also make long-term plans like traveling abroad together or starting a business. Personally, my friends and I usually plan short trips during holidays — it’s a great way to unwind and bond without spending too much.”

One piece of work I felt really satisfied with was a marketing project I did in my third year at university. We had to create a full marketing campaign for a real local business — from branding to social media strategy. My team chose a small café near campus that had great coffee but hardly any online presence.

I was in charge of designing their Instagram page and creating content to attract more young customers. Honestly, it was quite challenging at first because I had no background in design, but I spent a lot of time learning new tools and watching tutorials. Luckily, one of my teammates was really good at editing, so she gave me a lot of tips and helped polish the final version.

In the end, our professor gave us very positive feedback, and the café owner even used some of our ideas in real life. That made me feel incredibly proud. It wasn’t just about getting a good grade — it was knowing that our work had a real impact. That experience really boosted my confidence and made me realize how much I enjoy creative work.

A time when I had a long discussion about a news story was when Vietnam first announced its plan to introduce AI technology into public education. One of my friends was super excited — he believed AI could personalize learning and make teaching more efficient. Another friend, though, was quite skeptical. She was worried that relying too much on technology might reduce the role of teachers and widen the gap between urban and rural schools. Personally, I was somewhere in the middle. I thought it was an exciting step forward, but only if it’s implemented carefully and equally across the country.

We talked for well over an hour because the topic felt very relevant to us as students. It wasn’t just about the news — it led us to deeper questions about the future of education, the role of teachers, and even job security. It’s one of those discussions that really made me think.

Part 3:

1. How do most people find out about the news in your country?

“These days, most people in Vietnam get their news online, especially through social media platforms like Facebook or TikTok. It’s quick, convenient, and constantly updated. III. Cách tự luyện nói IELTS Speaking tại nhà
